Team spirit & behaviour expectations
  • Encourage cheering for teammates and other schools
  • Good sportsmanship
  • Represent our studio respectfully

The dancers and I have had some great discussions on how to show good sportsmanship at competitions! I appreciate your help with encouraging them to be proud of how far they have grown this season and reminding them that the experience is more valuable than a medal.

They told me so many great things about what they are going to learn from their competition experience including:
  • How to be a good sport
  • How to be confident on stage and in front of a large group of people
  • How to cheer for others
  • How to be kind to everyone around us
  • How to learn to do good hair and makeup!
  • How someone else’s success does not take anything away from your achievements
  • How to work as a team
  • And so much more!

I am so proud of all our performance team dancers and can't wait to see them shine on stage!
